Back To It

Well I put my senior project on hold as I scrambled to finish thirteen college applications, and now I am finally getting around to it again. My only exposure to yoga has been my P90x- Yoga X DVD and I am starting to hate it so much. The instructor guy is really annoying and it truly is "X-treme." I know I need to go to a real yoga class, but to be honest I am really scared! Based on my yoga experiences at home, I am really terrible at it. And I don't want to go to a class where there are all these professional yoga masters and then there's me who would be content just doing Child's Pose the entire time. I also don't have any time in my life, so I need to figure that out.
I've been trying to train for yoga by going on runs but that hasn't worked out too well and I am still pretty out of shape. So I guess my goals right now are- make more time for yoga, find a friend to go to yoga classes with me, and work harder at yoga. I feel I need to research yoga more and am currently thinking of topics and questions I have about it! One that I definitely want to know the answer to is- How does yoga help one's health?
We shall see! I am very excited to see if it increases my flexibility.
